That the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God and preserved for English speaking people in the King James Version of the Bible. (II Peter 1:21; II Tim. 3:16-17) The Word of God is the sole authority for the believer’s faith, conduct and doctrine. (Rom 6:11-13)
All mankind is sinful after the fall of Adam, and all mankind is in need of salvation. (Rom. 5:12) Salvation is by grace, through faith in Christ’s finished work on the cross. (Eph. 2:8-9) In the eternal security of the believer in Christ. (I John 5:9-13) In a literal Heaven and a literal Hell as the only two eternal abodes of the souls of men. (John 14:2-3; II Peter 2:4) Those that have put their faith in Christ’s finished work on the cross will abide with God in Heaven. Those that reject His salvation will abide forever in the Lake of Fire. (I John 5:12)
In God that exists as a Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matt. 28:19; Gal. 4:6)
In the autonomy of the local church as an assembly of baptized believers with the purpose of carrying out the Great Commission. (Acts 13:2) The church observes two ordinances: baptism by immersion for believers, and the Lord’s Supper. (Acts 2:41; I Cor. 11:23-30)
In the Second Coming of Christ in two phases: the pre-tribulational rapture of all believers, and the pre-millenial return of the Lord Jesus Christ. (I Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 19:11-13)
The world was created by God in six literal twenty-four hour days. (Gen. 1)
In the virgin birth, sinless life of Jesus Christ, and that He died for the sins of all mankind. (Matt 1:18-25; Heb 10:10) In the literal, bodily resurrection from the grave and bodily ascension into Heaven where He is seated at the right hand of the Father interceding for believers. (Rom. 8:34; I Cor. 15:4)
In separating from current trends in doctrine and practice that are not in accordance with the Bible. Including: liberalism, ecumenicalism, the tongues movement, the healing movement, and contemporary worship practices. (II Cor. 6:14-17)
