First Baptist Church of Fernwood is a small church and God has wonderfully sustained us. The plus side to being a small church is that we feel even more like a family. We are not bound by the clock or man-made traditions. The services are not formulaic. We can choose to worship God by singing all nineteen verses of “O For A Thousand Tongues To Sing.” http://www.hymntime.com/tch/htm/o/f/o/ofor1000.htm The pastor knows everyone’s name and prays for everyone. On Sunday nights we are going verse-by-verse through the Book of Acts. Before that, we spent two years going through the Four Gospels. And before that, we spent thirteen months on the Book of Revelation. Right now for Sunday School we are studying the Tabernacle. Please come and visit us soon!
